We've experienced this too, but the good news is that it's not the straps–it's how you're putting BetterBack on and there's an easy fix! The straps can appear uneven when you put BetterBack on one leg at a time. What do we mean by that? If you start with your right leg and get your strap perfectly adjusted, it's likely pulling the back pad towards the right so when you go to adjust your left leg you need more strap. If this bugs you, here's a fix: wrap the back pad around your back and then get both legs mostly adjusted—it shouldn't be tight. Lean your chest forward, grab both straps and pull to tighten them at the same time while you sit up into perfect posture.
